Publications and Design Coordinator at THE CONTEMPORARY AUSTIN

Jan. 2015 - Feb. 2016, Austin, TX

Worked on the communications team in the Institutional Advancement Department to manage all print and graphic materials for the museum’s two locations (outdoor sculpture park and downtown gallery space). Managed
multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, by coordinating all workflow with international design firm (Pentagram Design), museum departments, and suppliers. Projects included catalogs, advertisements, 32-page gallery guides, informational brochures, and exhibition collateral (object labels, wall text vinyl, banners). Managed branding, invitations, and on-site materials for three annual fundraising events. Oversaw budgets for all projects with focus on value engineering. Assisted in acquiring and maintaining image rights with ARS and VAGA.

US Marketing Coordinator for THE RUG COMPANY

Aug. 2012 - Jan. 2014, New York, NY (remotely in Austin, TX since Sept 2014)

Assist the London-based Marketing Director in creating and executing an annual national media plan, maintain steady editorial coverage in five regions, keep multiple contact lists up to date, and organize monthly newsletters. Organize events for up to 200 people, assist in large scale email marketing campaigns. Maintain relationships with editors at various publications including WSJ magazine, Vogue, Elle Decor, and Architectural Digest. Assist in invitation design. Keep staff updated on all marketing and Pr news. 

Gallery Assistant for FREIGHT + VOLUME GALLERY

May 2012 - Sept. 2012, New York, NY

Managed all gallery administrative tasks, including day to day gallery upkeep, maintained all of our 25 represented artist's accounting, kept all consignments up to date, managed inventory, kept internet presence updated and accurate, corresponded with museum directors, gallery directors, and collectors.

Assistant to the Director and Exhibitors Coordinator for FRERE INDEPENDENT

Aug. 2011- May 2012 New York, NY.   

Assisted the Director of Exhibitions in organizing an artist's fair in Miami during Art Basel week and in New York during the Armory show week. Coordinated the application process, payment process and installation of all 30 exhibiting artist's work. Worked on compiling press material, copy for web presence, and some graphic design for print advertising. Hired and oversaw interns.

Studio Manager for GIOVANNI FORLINO

Aug. 2010 – Feb. 2011.  Brooklyn, NY.

Worked with Brooklyn based artist Giovanni Forlino managing the artist's productivity and timely completion of projects. Submitted his work to open calls, corresponded with gallery directors, drafted statements, worked directly on pieces; copper gilding, various paper treatments, and painting. Carried out large scale printing projects.
